Vissco has introduced a unique above knee medical compression stocking in one compression class. For the first time, the heel and the knee area is reinforced in the knitting. The blending of yarns permits two-way stretch facility. Proper blending of yarns permits the stocking to be skin friendly and can be used for a prolonged period of time without having the ill effects of skin irritation.
Vissco Medical Compression stockings are used for rehabilitating Varicose Veins, tired, aching or swollen legs or for arthritic pain. These stockings provide relief from chronic ankle swelling, clothing, reversible mild lymphedema and in the treatment of post-phlebitic syndrome. These stockings are designed to increase blood velocity, while reducing edema and correct gradient compression assist in the management and treatment of chronic leg disorders.
Varicose veins are gnarled, enlarged veins (blood vessels) close to the skin's surface. The word varicose comes from the Latin root varix, which means 'twisted'.
