There are 2 basic types of casts : a. Plaster of Paris & b. Fiberglass

It is important to keep your cast dry when bathing or showering. Regardless whether your cast is of Plaster or fiberglass, the cotton padding underneath also needs to be protected and kept dry.

The Activeprotect Cast & Bandage Protector serves a dual purpose and protects both the cast and cotton padding from getting wet & soiled. It is made from a durable, transparent PVC fabric. It fits snugly over the limb when applied and the sealing is done with the help of fastening straps. 

This protector makes the fitting watertight and keeps your cast dry. It can be used over and over again and ensures that the cast is well protected. There is enough space inside the cast for free movement of fingers.
